04 · BRPT STAR Program · F020

Sleep Technology Approved Resource (STAR) Program

Explore STAR training →

Dream Sleep Center is listed by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) as STAR provider F020 in the Focused category. This is a formal sleep-technology education pathway for people entering the field — not simply on-the-job orientation.

  • BRPT-listed Focused Sleep Technology Approved Resource (STAR) program
  • Focused format: self-study education plus at least 80 hours of in-person lecture and hands-on skills training
  • Foundational sleep-technology knowledge, assessments and supervised skills development
  • May support candidate eligibility for BRPT examinations such as CPSGT or RPSGT depending on the selected eligibility pathway

STAR designation applies to the education program, not to an individual student. Candidates must still meet the applicable BRPT eligibility requirements for the credential they pursue.
