A great place to do the work

Experienced technologists deserve trust, clarity and a strong team.

We want sleep technologists who know their craft, take ownership of the night and do not need someone standing over them.

You should know what excellent looks like, have the authority to execute within clear protocols, and know when an issue truly needs escalation.

In return, Dream aims to provide a calm outpatient environment, clear standards, strong clinical screening and a culture where capable people are trusted to do their jobs.

“We like self-driven people. High ownership. Low drama. Calm, capable adults who take excellent care of patients and each other.”
We Pay Well for Great Techs
Compensation

Strong technologists should be paid like strong technologists.

Dream uses competitive shift-based compensation for sleep-technologist work. Experience, reliability, technical strength and additional responsibilities matter.

Technologists who add value beyond the normal shift — such as training, quality work, leadership or instructor responsibilities — can have additional growth opportunities as those roles are defined.

Exact rates, shift structure, overtime treatment and any training/instructor premiums are defined in the formal role and offer.

The night shift

Own the night. Know the standards. Use your judgment.

This is not a role built around constant micromanagement. The goal is clear expectations, excellent preparation and appropriate autonomy.

Patient careSet the tone, explain the study, create trust and help the patient feel safe.
Technical excellenceClean signals, accurate setup, appropriate troubleshooting and strong study quality.
Clinical awarenessRecognize what matters, follow protocols and escalate appropriately.
Professional closeoutClear comments, complete documentation and a clean handoff for interpretation.
Autonomy

Autonomy does not mean “figure it out alone.”

It means clear standards, defined escalation and enough trust to use your training without unnecessary interference.

Clear protocolsKnow what “done well” looks like before the night begins.
Decision rightsHandle what belongs at the technologist level without unnecessary approval loops.
Escalation when it mattersClinical or safety issues that truly require higher-level judgment have a defined path.
Quality + safety

The tech should not discover at 2:00 AM that the patient never belonged in an outpatient lab.

Dream's clinical-screening model is designed so patients are evaluated before overnight testing and higher-acuity patients can be directed to settings with appropriate cardiopulmonary support.

Before the study

Clinical screening

The lab receives a clinical picture rather than an unexplained patient at the door.

During the study

Clear technical standards

Protocols guide setup, monitoring, titration, documentation and appropriate escalation.

After the study

Strong handoff

Professional technologist comments and accurate data support provider interpretation and patient care.

Technical excellence

Details matter because the report is only as good as the data behind it.

Dream emphasizes clean signal acquisition, accurate documentation, consistent terminology and high-quality technologist comments. Training and quality review are intended to make the work easier and more repeatable — not to create busywork.

Setup + signal quality

Accurate sensor placement, strong signals and appropriate troubleshooting throughout the study.

Titration discipline

Follow protocols, document pressure changes clearly and recognize clinically important patterns.

Provider-ready documentation

Professional, objective comments and accurate data that reduce avoidable correction later.

Career growth

A great technologist can become more than “the person on nights.”

Experienced technologists who want to grow can help teach, train and raise the standard for the next generation of sleep technologists.

1 · Excellent TechOwn your shifts, produce high-quality studies and create a strong patient experience.
2 · Resource TechHelp solve technical problems, reinforce protocols and support newer teammates.
3 · Instructor / TrainerHelp teach trainees in Dream's BRPT-listed Focused Sleep Technology Approved Resource (STAR) program.
4 · Lead / Quality RolePotential responsibility for training quality, audits, coaching, scheduling input and program improvement.

Dream Sleep Center is publicly listed by BRPT as STAR provider F020 in the Focused category. Instructor or leadership responsibilities depend on experience, competency, program needs and the specific role offered.

The people part matters
High ownership. Low drama.

We want people who are steady, responsible, kind, direct and able to work independently without creating unnecessary chaos around them.

Do your job well without constant supervision.
Communicate clearly when something actually needs attention.
Treat patients and teammates with respect.
Take feedback without turning it into a crisis.
Help solve problems rather than merely announcing them.
Leave the shift, lab and team better than you found them.

We are intentionally building a calm, self-managing team. Great technical skill plus unnecessary drama is not a fit.

What success looks like

A strong night should feel boring in the best possible way.

The patient is cared for, the data are clean, the protocol is followed, problems are handled appropriately, and the next team does not inherit preventable messes.

Patients feel safe

Professional communication, calm presence and thoughtful overnight care.

Studies are technically strong

Clean signals, appropriate troubleshooting and usable diagnostic data.

Protocols are followed

Consistent execution with sound judgment when the situation changes.

Documentation is clean

Objective comments, accurate fields and a provider-ready handoff.

The team can trust you

Reliable attendance, ownership and communication without unnecessary escalation.

You help the system improve

Good ideas are welcome. If a process is broken, help make it better.
